TO GUARANTEE YOUR SPACE, YOU MUST:

  • Have your application in before 26 October 2018

  • Successful applicants will be notified of their acceptance and a tax invoice will be forwarded within 7 days of receipt of application.

  • Unsuccessful applicants will be advised within 7 days of receipt of application.

  • Tax invoice must be paid in full before 5 November 2018.

  • Your receipt and membership card(s) will be sent to you, depending on time constraints.

INSURANCE

All traders and non-traders must have appropriate and current insurance to the value of $10 million. Please forward a copy of your insurance certificate to dorrigoshowtradespace@gmail.com. Your application will not be complete until this is received.

ELECTRICAL

All traders and non-traders must only use electrical equipment that has been tested and tagged by a licensed electrician; this is in compliance with s 150 of the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2017 (NSW), under the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (NSW). One electrical outlet (power-lead/power-point) is included as part of the trade-space booking fee; any extra power supply will be charged accordingly (see “Additional Requirements” on application form). 

PARKING

If a parking space is needed behind your stall (limited spaces available), the cost is $25 (car) or $35 (truck).

REFUND POLICY

Applicants wishing to withdraw AFTER 5 November 2018 will NOT be refunded.  Similarly, accepted applicants who fail to attend will forfeit their refund.


GENERAL INFORMATION                       

SECURITY will be provided for trade-space on both Friday & Saturday nights, continuing into the early morning of the next day:
7:00pm to 12:00am (midnight) - Roaming Foot Patrol;
12:00am (midnight) to 5:00am - Roaming Car Patrol.

NOTE: Pricing has changed this year to reflect the added cost for security. Also we have removed the first outlet charge for electrical power; you will only be charged if you require more than one outlet.                       

Trade space at the Dorrigo show consists mainly of outdoor grassed area on either side of the main arena with a thoroughfare running in a complete circle around it. Almost all of the space is without shelter; the very limited sheltered space that does exist is for use by invitation only.  Applicants should assume that they will need to provide their own shelter.                    

Trade space is sold to traders by square metre of space (including your car / truck if needed onsite).  Non-trade space is free and is available to Not-for-Profit community groups only. Non-traders should note that traders are given a higher priority when trade space is allocated.                       

Traders and non-traders must ensure that the trade exhibits meet relevant OH&S standards and do not constitute any danger, annoyance or offence to the attending public or the show committee.                       

On arrival to the showground, all traders and non-traders are to report to the show office for their site allocation and number.  Trade space staff will be on hand to assist.  Please provide your tax receipt for validation. Trade and non-traders are NOT PERMITTED to take up alternative sites to that which has been allocated to them unless specifically permitted by the trade steward, President or Secretary of the Dorrigo Show Association.                       

Traders and non-traders are NOT allowed to sublet their or any other site, to other persons, organisations or traders.                       

Traders must be set up and staff their exhibits from 9am to 7pm on Saturday, and from 9am to 3pm on Sunday.  Direct vehicular access IS NOT PERMITTED during these times due to safety concerns. It would be appreciated if FOOD STALL VENDORS could remain open until 8 pm, or until after the fireworks on Saturday night.                       

The traders package includes Association Membership.  One membership card will be complimentary and further cards will be charged at the Trade Space price of $10 per card.  Membership cards are to be worn at all times during the show.  As each card is personalised we will need the name of all cardholders. Please make sure you complete the attached trade space form completely: THIS INCLUDES THE MEMBERSHIP SECTION.                       

Traders and Non-traders may camp by their vehicle, however a camping permit will be required ($20). The permit must be displayed through your windscreen.

Additional Requirements

Please indicate if you require additional power, car spaces, memberships, etc.
All traders and staff are to wear membership cards at all times during the show. The traders package includes one complimentary Association Membership; further cards will be charged at the Trade Space price of $10 per card. Please list the names of any additional persons requiring membership cards.
Any vehicles needed onsite must be parked within the allocated trade space purchased. An additional parking space outside your trade space may be available (spaces are limited).
